Dr. Richard Conlen, MD, FACOG
Founder & Medical Director, Innovative Diabetic Solutions

Dr. Richard Conlen brings more than 30 years of clinical experience to his role as Founder and Medical Director of Innovative Diabetic Solutions. A board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Conlen has spent over two decades using hormone-based therapies to improve patient outcomes, and he continues that focus today in an urgently needed area of care: diabetes and related metabolic disorders.

In expanding his practice, Dr. Conlen now applies his deep medical knowledge and patient-centered approach to address insulin resistance at its core. Through the groundbreaking Physiological Insulin Resensitization (PIR) protocol, he uses insulin as a hormone in a therapeutic way to help patients improve insulin sensitivity and reduce complications from diabetes.

 

Dr. Conlen earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and holds degrees in chemistry and biology. He is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed in both Florida and New Jersey. He is also affiliated with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Medical Association, and multiple Florida and national medical societies. Throughout his career, Dr. Conlen has served in numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boca Raton Community Hospital and Medical Director for several nonprofit health organizations.

Pauline Cole, ARNP-BC

Nurse Practitioner

Pauline Cole is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP-BC) with more than 30 years of experience providing exceptional patient care across chronic disease treatment, oncology, endocrinology, and neurology. At Innovative Diabetic Solutions, she is passionate about helping patients improve their health and quality of life through advanced, evidence-based treatment strategies, including the groundbreaking Physiological Insulin Resensitization (PIR) protocol.

 

Before joining Innovative Diabetic Solutions, Pauline served in a variety of roles, including managing oncology and hematology patients at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, leading survivorship and wellness programs, and supporting patients through complex treatment decisions. Her extensive background also includes work in endocrinology, where she helped individuals manage diabetes and related metabolic conditions, and roles at nationally recognized institutions such as Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Florida Cancer Specialists.

 

Pauline earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Post-Master’s Nurse Practitioner certification from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Council of Palm Beach County and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to take control of their health.
